Senior Machine Learning Researcher

About the role

Ai2C Technologies AG, a Swiss start-up (ETH Zurich spin-off) that has recently expanded to Athens, is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Researcher. The company uses advanced machine learning to drive innovation in the DeepTech finance sector, and in this role you will design, develop and deploy machine learning models that address business challenges, working closely with cross-functional teams to turn data-driven insights into ML algorithms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and optimize machine learning algorithms to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate ML solutions into production systems.
• Run experiments to evaluate model performance and refine models based on feedback and results.
• Stay up to date with ML advances and propose new solutions.

Required profile

• PhD in a relevant field or 4+ years of industry experience in machine learning and data science.
• Experience integrating ML models into production environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong Python programming.
• Supervised and unsupervised learning, and deep learning architectures such as convolutional networks, attention mechanisms and transformers.
• ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, JAX and scikit-learn.
• Data preprocessing, feature selection and model evaluation metrics.
