IT Business Analyst - Village Roadshow Operations Greece

About the role

Village Roadshow, a member of Antenna Group and a leading cinema entertainment brand, is looking for an IT Business Analyst to join its team in Athens. The role bridges business needs and technical solutions, covering requirement analysis, solution design and leading development initiatives from concept to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into system specifications and support solution architecture design
• Support development, integration and implementation of ticketing platforms, ERP, CRM, loyalty systems and APIs
• Work with developers, data engineers and infrastructure teams to deliver solutions accurately
• Design, develop and optimise complex SQL queries, stored procedures and database objects
• Build reporting and dashboards with Power BI or similar BI tools
• Modify databases, design schemas and map data between systems
• Support REST API and web service integration, middleware and data migration
• Define UAT and SIT test cases, validate data integrity and troubleshoot issues
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks and propose technical improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
• Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst in complex systems environments
• Strong SQL skills (query optimisation, joins, indexing, stored procedures)
• Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL and data integration
• Experience with system integrations (APIs, JSON/XML, web services)
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MS SQL Server
• Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
