Restaurant Manager

About the role

Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel chain in Greece, is hiring a Restaurant Manager in Corfu. The role leads and manages restaurant operations so that the outlet runs smoothly, in line with Grecotel's brand values and standards of service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage restaurant operations, including staffing levels, inventory, budgeting and financial reporting
• Train, motivate, coach and discipline staff so they deliver on brand values and service standards
• Set up food and beverage quality control, presentation and service procedures according to Grecotel's standards
• Liaise with the Executive Chef and F&B Manager on menu planning, promotions and special events
• Keep up with local competition and recommend improvements to keep the outlet competitive
• Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints quickly and satisfactorily

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in a restaurant management position within a luxury hotel or resort
• Proven experience managing and supervising teams, motivating staff and building morale
• Strong understanding of budget management, financial reporting and forecasting
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
• Deep knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and quality control
• Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is an asset
