Housekeeping Manager

About the role

Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel chain in Greece, is hiring a Housekeeping Manager in Corfu. The role manages the overall housekeeping and laundry operations of the property, including a team of housekeepers, and ensures that guests receive exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the overall housekeeping and laundry operations, including a team of housekeepers, and ensure they deliver exceptional service to guests
• Implement and maintain Grecotel's housekeeping and laundry standards and procedures throughout the property
• Build effective working relationships with other departments for seamless cooperation
• Create and maintain work schedules so staffing levels match occupancy
• Monitor and control inventory of cleaning supplies and linens
• Keep equipment and guest room appliances in good working order through regular inspections and maintenance
• Train, mentor and support housekeeping staff

Required profile

• At least 3-5 years of housekeeping management experience in a luxury hospitality environment
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing teams
• Excellent communication skills with guests and staff at all levels
• Good organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise and work under pressure
• Attention to detail and thorough understanding of housekeeping and laundry operations
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset
