HR Operations Generalist – People & Culture

About the role

We are looking for a highly organised HR professional to join our People & Culture team in Athens. The role focuses on operational excellence, compliance with Greek labour law, and delivering a seamless employee experience across the full lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day People & Culture operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, GDPR, and internal policies.
• Prepare and maintain employment contracts, employee records, and digital files with strict confidentiality.
• Support internal audits, monitor attendance, leave balances and ensure accurate reporting.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Greek employment legislation and advise on best practices.
• Coordinate the implementation of the Greek Digital Work Card and local health & safety requirements.
• Lead onboarding, probation reviews, contract amendments, internal transfers and off‑boarding processes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for employees on HR policies and procedures.
• Assist payroll preparation by collecting and validating data, and administer benefits such as private medical insurance and pension plans.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple HR processes simultaneously.
• In‑depth knowledge of Greek labour law and GDPR requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and a people‑first mindset.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and compliance.
