Groom (Valet) – Luxury Hotel, Paros

About the role

As a Groom at LUURA on Paros, you are often the first and last point of contact for guests, helping shape their overall experience. You welcome guests, assist with luggage and vehicles, and keep the entrance, driveway and lobby welcoming and well organised. The role needs strong interpersonal skills, physical capability, responsibility and attention to detail, and close coordination with F&B, Front Office, Security, Engineering and Housekeeping.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and help with luggage and personal belongings
• Park, retrieve and manage guest vehicles according to LUURA valet procedures
• Assist with departures so luggage and vehicles are ready and delivered promptly
• Keep the entrance, driveway and lobby clean, organised and presentable
• Escort guests to rooms or facilities and give basic information on services and amenities
• Manage luggage storage, tagging and tracking accurately and securely
• Coordinate with Front Office and Concierge on arrivals, departures and special requests
• Report suspicious activity, safety hazards or maintenance issues to Engineering and/or Security
• Follow lost and found procedures and respect guest privacy and confidentiality
• Keep valet equipment, trolleys and storage areas clean and in good condition
• Follow traffic laws, safety standards and LUURA vehicle-handling procedures

Required profile

• Previous experience as a porter, valet, bell attendant or in a guest-facing hospitality role is preferred
• Valid driving licence and confident, safe driving skills with basic vehicle handling knowledge
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, service-oriented, professional and discreet
• Ability to work independently and stay calm during busy periods
• Eligible to work in an EU country; English is an advantage
