Front Office Manager

About the role

Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel chain in Greece, is hiring a Front Office Manager in Kos. The role manages the daily operations of the Front Office department so that guests receive exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the Front Office department and deliver exceptional guest service
• Train, coach and develop Front Office staff to improve customer service and productivity
• Monitor and manage room inventory, availability and rates to maximise revenue
• Ensure front desk procedures are followed, including check-in and check-out, billing and room assignments
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction
• Manage the budget and expenses of the Front Office department
• Maintain good working relationships with other hotel departments

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience as an Assistant Front Office Manager or Front Office Manager in a luxury hotel
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset

Required skills

• Knowledge of hotel systems such as PMS, POS and CRM
• Leadership, communication and customer service skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
