Bartender

About the role

LUURA is hiring a Bartender for its Paros property, a key creator of the guest experience at the bar. The role is hands-on and guest-facing, combining precise cocktail and drink service with warm, confident engagement. It works closely with the Bar Manager and the wider F&B team to keep service effortless, social and memorable.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks to LUURA and Rikas standards
• Know the bar menu, ingredients, preparation methods, allergens and beverage pairings
• Set up and break down the bar, stock liquor, glassware, garnishes, ice and juices
• Deliver consistent, detail-driven service and greet guests warmly, recognising regulars
• Process orders accurately, manage billing and cash handling
• Follow beverage SOPs, health and safety, hygiene and responsible alcohol service rules
• Monitor guest satisfaction, handle minor issues proactively and escalate concerns to management
• Support stock control, receive and organise deliveries, and keep the bar clean and organised
• Keep up with daily events, reservations and VIP guests

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Bartender in an upscale, fast-paced hospitality setting
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine and beverage service
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus
• Eligible to work in EU countries
• Solid knowledge of health and safety, food hygiene, first aid and emergency procedures

Required skills

• Familiarity with POS systems, inventory processes and cash handling
• Ability to stay calm and efficient during busy service
• Attention to detail and teamwork
