Barback

About the role

LUURA is looking for a Barback for its bar operation on Paros. The barback supports the bartenders by keeping the bar fully set up, stocked, clean and ready for service at all times, so the bar team can deliver a seamless, high-energy guest experience. It is a fast-paced, hands-on role requiring attention to detail, teamwork and a strong sense of responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Support bartenders during service by making sure all materials, tools and supplies are available
• Prepare the bar mise en place, including glassware, ice, garnishes, juices and equipment
• Keep the bar and preparation areas clean and organised throughout service
• Clear, wash and organise glassware and bar equipment promptly
• Dispose of waste, manage recycling and help with regular deep cleaning of bar areas
• Restock beverages, bar supplies and consumables, keeping storage tidy
• Carry out opening and closing duties as assigned
• Help receive, check and store beverage deliveries
• Prepare basic hot and cold beverages as required
• Follow health and safety, hygiene and responsible alcohol service guidelines, and comply with LUURA SOPs, policies and local regulations
• Work closely with the bar and service teams

Required profile

• Previous bar or hospitality experience is a plus but not essential
• Good understanding of bar operations and willingness to learn
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and to follow instructions with attention to detail
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift items as required
• Oral proficiency in English; eligibility to work in EU countries
