Assistant Housekeeping Manager

About the role

Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel chain in Greece, is hiring an Assistant Housekeeping Manager in Kos. The role supports the coordination and supervision of the housekeeping team and contributes to guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and supervising the housekeeping team
• Train and coach housekeeping staff on cleaning and maintenance procedures
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and orderliness
• Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure guest satisfaction
• Order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory
• Schedule staff and assign tasks to ensure efficient use of resources
• Assist in developing and implementing housekeeping policies and procedures

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset

Required skills

• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
