Account Manager – Shipping Solutions

About the role

The Account Manager will be the primary sales contact for Mr. Marine’s portfolio of marine products and services, covering customers in Thessaloniki and Athens. Reporting to the COO, you will develop and grow relationships with key shipping customers, driving revenue and ensuring compliance with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Research and understand the assigned portfolio, identifying and establishing contacts with existing and potential customers.
• Conduct regular business reviews and report action plans for each account.
• Develop a customer base with an annual turnover above €2 million.
• Manage the sales pipeline, prepare sales calls, and update contract terms in line with procedures.
• Hand over closed‑won opportunities to operations and finance teams and resolve escalated customer issues.

Required profile

• First‑level university degree (technical background a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of account management experience.
• Experience in the international shipping business is advantageous.
• Excellent business English (additional language a plus) and cultural empathy.
• Tech‑savvy attitude.
