System & Infrastructure Administrator

About the role

AMPLUS Technologies is seeking a System & Infrastructure Administrator to join its growing IT team. You will be responsible for maintaining a robust Windows Server environment, virtual infrastructure, and network services while supporting the company’s cybersecurity initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory and file services.
• Implement, monitor, and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Manage VMware and other virtualization platforms such as Hyper‑V.
• Monitor and support corporate network components: VLANs, firewalls, wireless access points, routing and switching.
• Assist with cybersecurity policy implementation, controls, and continuous improvement.
• Provide Linux server administration and related troubleshooting when required.
• Conduct risk assessments and technical audits of servers, UPS systems, generators, and other critical on‑premises infrastructure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in systems or infrastructure administration.
• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of security and operational excellence.

Required skills

• Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policies, file server management.
• VMware, Hyper‑V or other hypervisor platforms.
• Networking fundamentals: VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, wireless infrastructure.
• Linux server administration (basic to intermediate).
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Risk assessment and technical audit procedures.
