Senior Retail Training Manager – South East Europe & Italy

About the role

As Senior Retail Training Manager for Italy and South East Europe, you will shape store‑team capability, drive commercial learning priorities and directly influence retail performance across owned and franchise stores.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and deliver the retail learning strategy for Italy and South East Europe, aligned with business priorities and store performance goals.
• Identify capability gaps across store teams and design practical, engaging learning solutions in partnership with business experts.
• Lead delivery of blended learning programs (trainer‑led, digital, virtual, hands‑on) for owned and franchise stores.
• Coach and develop retail learning professionals, in‑store trainers and franchise trainers to ensure consistent brand execution.
• Build strong partnerships with senior retail leaders, HR, franchise teams and district managers to keep learning solutions locally relevant.
• Measure learning impact through performance data, feedback and observation, and continuously improve programs.
• Manage learning budget, vendors and external partners to deliver cost‑effective solutions.
• Support new‑hire onboarding and ongoing engagement, providing tools and support for store success.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of retail experience, preferably in apparel, fashion, footwear or FMCG, with a proven track record of developing others.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, sales and customer service, and experience designing and delivering learning programmes.
• Experience coaching, mentoring or developing trainers, facilitators or learning champions in retail or franchise environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent in English; Greek, Italian or additional South East European languages are a strong advantage.
