Manager Payroll EMEA

About the role

The Payroll Manager leads payroll operations for assigned processes at the EMEA Global Business Services location in Thessaloniki, Greece. You will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery while leading a team of payroll professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end payroll processes for multiple countries, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Sign off payroll, monitor regulatory changes, and act as second‑level escalation for complex issues.
• Manage vendor performance, drive corrective actions, and oversee payroll budget.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate a team of payroll staff, aligning performance with KPIs and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Represent payroll in senior‑level audits and compliance checks.

Required profile

• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, HR or related field.
• 5+ years experience in payroll, accounting or HR, with proven team‑leadership.
• Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fluent English (spoken & written).
