Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

This position provides comprehensive legal support across business operations, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and internal policies while acting as a trusted advisor on commercial, corporate, and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day legal support across all business functions.
• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a broad range of commercial agreements.
• Advising on corporate governance matters, including shareholder resolutions and filings before relevant authorities.
• Supporting internal stakeholders on employment and labour law matters.
• Implementing and overseeing compliance initiatives, including anti-corruption, whistleblowing, and anti-abuse programs.
• Monitoring legislative developments and assessing their impact on business operations.
• Supporting e‑commerce and other business projects from a legal perspective.
• Coordinating cooperation with external law firms and advisors when required.
• Identifying legal risks and providing practical, business‑oriented recommendations.

Required profile

• Law degree from a recognized university.
• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice law in Greece.
• Membership in a Greek Bar Association with full rights to practice law in Greece.
• Several years of post‑qualification legal experience gained within a law firm and/or in‑house legal department.
• Strong background in commercial and corporate law.
• Exposure to compliance and corporate governance matters.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Solid understanding of Greek legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
