Senior Finance Analyst – Greece

About the role

The Senior Finance Analyst will lead a multi‑skilled finance team in Greece, ensuring seamless integration of embedded finance, third‑party providers and Group Finance functions. The role is responsible for delivering finance priorities, statutory and tax compliance, and supporting the business strategy and financial roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Act as trusted commercial advisor, providing finance expertise for strategic and operational decisions.
• Lead local accounting team, oversee month‑end and year‑end close, and sign off financial statements.
• Ensure statutory, tax and regulatory compliance, including audit support and tax return preparation.
• Maintain a robust control environment, identify gaps and implement remediation.
• Manage relationships with external partners such as auditors, tax advisors, banks and government agencies.
• Oversee daily payments, treasury, procurement‑to‑pay and record‑to‑report processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Business or Finance (or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in statutory, control and tax compliance within a retail or supply business.
• Strong leadership with high emotional intelligence and collaborative mindset.
• Strategic vision, commercial acumen and ability to anticipate financial implications.
• Proven ability to work across globally diverse teams and drive change.
