Junior Finance Controller

About the role

Helion Helicopters is seeking a Junior Finance Controller to join its finance team in Athens. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will support monthly closing, cash‑flow management and budgeting while collaborating with internal stakeholders and an external accounting provider.

Key responsibilities

• Support and monitor the monthly financial closing process.
• Prepare accruals, reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with Greek GAAP and IFRS.
• Monitor and analyse OPEX and CAPEX and investigate budget variances.
• Maintain cash‑flow forecasts and assist liquidity planning.
• Prepare management reports, financial analyses and KPIs.
• Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting.
• Contribute to stronger financial processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Greek GAAP and IFRS.
• ERP experience is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Collaborative, organised and accountable.
