Assistant Auditor

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Auditor to join our Audit & Assurance team in Thessaloniki. The role involves supporting audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio while developing professional qualifications. You will work closely with senior auditors, document procedures, and contribute to the timely completion of engagements. Our firm supports continuous learning and offers training for professional qualifications such as ACA and ACCA.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Perform and document audit procedures in accordance with BDO methodology.
• Analyse financial and client data and identify relevant issues.
• Work closely with the audit team and communicate findings to supervisors.
• Contribute to the effective and timely completion of engagements.

Required profile

• 1 to 3 years of working experience in audit firms.
• Registered to SOEL records.
• In the process or interested in acquiring a professional qualification (JES, AMP, METKEL).
• Team‑oriented, proactive and willing to develop professionally.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
