Senior Accountant

About the role

COVERBOARD S.A., based in Peristeri, Attica, specializes in the import and trade of bookbinding materials, paper products, thermal printing solutions and equipment. The company is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all accounting department activities.
• Monitor, plan and prepare financial reports, including cash flow analysis.
• Handle commercial accounting and maintain accurate records.
• Execute company payments and settle financial obligations.
• Perform cash, bank and credit‑card reconciliations.
• Manage payroll and HR‑related administrative matters.
• Ensure compliance with tax obligations such as VAT and payroll taxes.
• Prepare financial and management reports for senior leadership.
• Maintain, review and optimise the company’s accounting system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum six years of experience in a similar senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of double‑entry bookkeeping (Category C).
• Expertise in the myDATA (AADE) reporting system.
• Advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SoftOne or Capital ERP.
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
