Senior Auditor – Thessaloniki

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Auditor to lead audit engagements from planning through final reporting. You will work closely with partners, directors, and managers to deliver high‑quality audit services that meet regulatory standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise audit teams and manage assignments from planning to finalization, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines.
• Act as the primary contact for engagement leads and clients, providing regular updates on audit progress and issues.
• Review audit work of junior staff, provide feedback, and ensure all review points are cleared before final reporting.
• Maintain audit standards and procedures across the team, guaranteeing compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
• Build and sustain strong client relationships, addressing requests and resolving problems promptly.

Required profile

• BSc in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field (MSc, ACCA or equivalent is a plus).
• 2‑4 years of experience in an audit firm.
• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and a detail‑oriented mindset.
• Positive attitude, professionalism and a willingness to continuously develop.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of audit procedures.
• Proficiency with auditing software and tools.
• Familiarity with IFRS and Greek GAAP.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
