Senior Associate Lawyer – Intellectual Property

About the role

KG Law Firm, a leading multidisciplinary firm in Greece, is looking for a motivated Senior Associate Lawyer to strengthen its Intellectual Property practice. The role involves advising clients on trademark and copyright matters, managing IP portfolios, and supporting complex transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide counsel on trademark and copyright clearance, registrations, brand protection, and IP issues linked to new ventures and marketing campaigns.
• Manage trademark and patent prosecution, including filing preparation, deadline monitoring, and record maintenance.
• Conduct IP due diligence for M&A projects and coordinate post‑acquisition IP integration.
• Draft and review IP agreements such as assignments and licences.
• Handle IP litigation and enforcement, including cease‑and‑desist letters, oppositions, cancellations, and monitoring trademark use on social media.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of client work.

Required profile

• Law degree and qualification as an attorney‑at‑law in Greece.
• Master’s degree with a specialization in IP from a recognized university.
• Minimum six years of experience in both advisory and enforcement aspects of IP law.
• Excellent oral and written English.
• High ethical standards, strong client‑service orientation, and ability to work independently and within a team.
