Restaurant Supervisor

About the role

Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel chain in Greece, is hiring a Restaurant Supervisor in Rethymno. The role supports the Restaurant Manager in day-to-day operations, staff supervision and training, and helps deliver the high service standards expected by guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, staff supervision and training
• Ensure all staff follow Grecotel's service standards and procedures
• Monitor guest experiences and address concerns promptly to improve satisfaction
• Help manage inventory and keep supplies at the right level
• Facilitate clear communication among staff so service runs smoothly
• Take part in creating staff schedules and keeping a positive work environment

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant or hospitality setting
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train team members
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve them quickly
• Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is an asset

Required skills

• Good understanding of food and beverage operations, including inventory management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
