Sous Chef - Luxury Hotel

About the role

Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel chain in Greece, is hiring a Sous Chef in Rhodes. You will work alongside the Executive Chef to deliver menus that meet Grecotel's standards, in a supportive environment that offers opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute menus with the Executive Chef in line with Grecotel's standards
• Manage and train junior kitchen staff
• Keep the kitchen compliant with health and safety regulations
• Oversee kitchen operations such as inventory management and ordering of supplies
• Help create new menu items and keep menus up to date
• Assist in daily food preparation when needed and manage food quality and presentation

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or resort
• Team management and training experience
• Experience with kitchen operations, including ordering and inventory control
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and team spirit
• Knowledge of Eastern Mediterranean cuisine is an asset
