Real Estate Lawyer – International Law Firm (Athens)

About the role

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join the Real Estate practice of a leading international law firm in its Athens office. The successful candidate will join a highly regarded team advising on complex, high‑value domestic and cross‑border real‑estate matters. This role offers exposure to premium clients, sophisticated transactions, and the chance to work closely with leading practitioners in a collaborative, commercially focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Real estate acquisitions and disposals
• Commercial leasing and asset management
• Real estate aspects of M&A and corporate transactions
• Development projects and construction‑related matters
• Real estate finance and secured lending transactions
• Due diligence exercises and title investigations
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documentation
• Advising domestic and international clients on regulatory and structuring issues

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer in Greece or another jurisdiction with strong Greek real‑estate experience
• 4–8+ years post‑qualification experience (Associate or Senior Associate level)
• Strong experience in real‑estate transactions, preferably at a leading law firm
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical abilities
• Strong commercial awareness and pragmatic problem‑solving
• Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating within a team
• Experience with multinational or institutional clients is highly desirable
• Fluent in Greek and English, both written and spoken
