Compliance Analyst

About the role

Join a leading global payments company as a Compliance Analyst, supporting the Compliance & AML team in Athens. You will ensure the business meets all regulatory requirements and help shape the future of global commerce.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regulatory compliance assessments, audits and horizon scanning of Greek and EU regulations.
• Conduct due‑diligence on new and existing partners, managing documentation and investigations.
• Support internal and external audits, coordinate remediation of findings.
• Prepare regulatory reports and work with finance and IT to generate accurate statistics.
• Advise business units on regulatory matters and respond to their queries.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures and analysis models.
• Monitor transactions, identify trends and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• University degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics or related field; Master’s degree desirable.
• 2+ years of experience in compliance or audit, preferably in payments or financial services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Greek and English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience with transaction monitoring and compliance analysis tools.
