Real Estate Lawyer – International Law Firm (Athens)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join the Real Estate practice of a leading international law firm in Athens. The successful candidate will work on complex, high‑value domestic and cross‑border real estate matters, advising premium clients and collaborating with senior practitioners.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on real estate acquisitions and disposals.
• Structure and negotiate commercial leasing and asset management agreements.
• Support real estate aspects of M&A and corporate transactions.
• Counsel on development projects, construction matters and related regulatory issues.
• Handle real estate finance, secured lending and related documentation.
• Conduct due diligence, title investigations and risk assessments.
• Draft, review and negotiate transaction documentation.
• Advise domestic and international clients on regulatory and structuring matters.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer in Greece (or other jurisdiction with strong Greek real‑estate experience).
• 4–8+ years post‑qualification experience in real estate transactions, preferably at a leading law firm.
• Proven ability to draft, negotiate and analyse complex legal documents.
• Strong commercial awareness and pragmatic problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively.
• Experience with multinational or institutional clients is highly desirable.
• Fluent in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
