QA Engineer

About the role

Pod Network is seeking a QA Engineer to own both manual and automated testing for its decentralized exchange platform. You will run new versions, break them, verify fixes, and ensure critical flows work before reaching users.

Key responsibilities

• Manually test new pod features and releases before they ship.
• Write clear bug reports with reproduction steps, expected and actual behavior, logs and screenshots.
• Collaborate with engineers to get bugs fixed, verified and deployed to production.
• Develop automated end‑to‑end and headless‑browser tests for repeated checks.

Required profile

• Experience in QA, software testing, release testing or a similar role.
• Strong manual testing skills, able to create practical test cases and document issues clearly.
• Comfortable testing technical software such as APIs, CLIs, backend services, infrastructure or distributed systems.
• Proficient with command‑line tools, log analysis and working in local or staging environments.
• Some experience with automated testing, scripting, smoke, regression or end‑to‑end tests.
• Ownership of release quality – you keep testing until behavior is fully understood.

Required skills

• Experience with Docker, CI, Kubernetes and cloud environments.
• Familiarity with API testing tools.
• Scripting or test development in Python, TypeScript, Rust, Go or Bash.
• Understanding of wallets, transactions, RPC APIs, validators, smart contracts and Ethereum‑compatible tooling.
