About the role

Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel chain in Greece, is hiring a Pastry Cook in Kyllini. The role oversees daily pastry operations and leads the pastry team within the kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily pastry operations and ensure high-quality standards are met
• Take part in menu planning and prepare dessert items on time
• Train, mentor and lead the pastry team
• Maintain a clean, organised kitchen and comply with food safety regulations
• Work with other kitchen teams to ensure cross-functionality
• Manage inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies
• Research and implement new dessert ideas

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in pastry arts, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Required skills

• Understanding of food safety regulations and procedures
• Pastry arts and dessert preparation
