Legal Counsel (Litigation Specialist)

About the role

Antenna Group, an international content, media and entertainment organisation, is looking for a Legal Counsel specialising in litigation issues. The role covers legal advice and support on litigation, dispute resolution and contentious matters, including managing disputes, working with external counsel, mitigating legal risk and representing the company in judicial and administrative proceedings.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on litigation, dispute resolution and contentious matters and manage civil, commercial, administrative and regulatory disputes from pre-litigation through resolution.
• Liaise with external law firms, monitor litigation strategy, budgets and case progress.
• Draft, review and prepare pleadings, legal notices, settlement agreements and other litigation documents.
• Advise management on legal risks, dispute prevention and potential liabilities, and represent the company before public authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Support negotiations through mediation, arbitration and settlement.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial, content and talent agreements, protecting intellectual and industrial property rights.
• Conduct legal research and stay up to date with legislation, case law and regulatory developments.

Required profile

• Law degree (Greece); an LL.M. is an advantage.
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience focused on litigation and dispute resolution.
• Experience managing external counsel and overseeing litigation matters.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Greek civil, commercial and procedural law.
• Advantages: commercial contracts and corporate advisory, IP and media law, leasehold/property rental matters, data protection (DPO training).
• Analytical, negotiation and communication skills, ability to handle several cases under pressure.
