Legal Counsel

About the role

Welcome is seeking a confident, commercially‑minded Legal Counsel to lead corporate and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You will work closely with local law firms and internal teams to ensure the company meets all legal requirements while supporting its rapid growth in the travel‑tech sector.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the company’s country compliance mapping.
• Lead local corporate and compliance implementation in priority markets, coordinating with external counsel and internal stakeholders.
• Manage third‑party correspondence, IP management, and corporate regulatory actions.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and provide employment law advice as needed.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external legal matters.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with experience in multi‑jurisdictional corporate and regulatory compliance.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage several workstreams simultaneously.
• Proven negotiation skills and confidence to take firm positions on behalf of the company.
