Lawyer - Media, Production & Commercial

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded lawyer to support our international business across media, production, advertising and public relations. The role involves hands‑on drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial and IP‑related agreements for multiple jurisdictions and group entities.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate production services and execution agreements.
• Draft and negotiate talent, influencer and contributor agreements.
• Advise on IP ownership, assignments, licences, usage rights and related commercial terms.
• Review and negotiate promotional, sponsorship, advertising and campaign agreements.
• Draft and negotiate Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work and associated commercial documentation.
• Provide practical, commercially focused advice on contractual risk to internal teams.
• Support production and account teams on contractual requirements, rights, clearances and approvals.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and counterparties across jurisdictions to progress negotiations to execution.
• Maintain contractual standards across the group and develop templates and legal processes.
• Engage external counsel where specialist or jurisdiction‑specific advice is required.

Required profile

• LLB from a UK law school, or an LLB from Greece or Cyprus together with an English‑taught LLM, preferably from a UK institution.
• Qualified and admitted to practise in Greece, Cyprus, England & Wales or a comparable jurisdiction.
• 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience in‑house within a production, advertising or PR business, or in a media, entertainment or IP practice.
• Proven ability to independently draft and negotiate contracts such as production agreements, talent and influencer agreements, IP licences, promotional and sponsorship agreements, campaign contracts and MSAs/SOWs.
• Fluent English with a high standard of legal and commercial drafting.
• Comfortable working across multiple jurisdictions and supporting an international business.
• Desirable: LLM specialising in IP, Media & Entertainment Law or commercial contracts; near‑native written English; Greek language skills.
