Key Account Manager – Sterilization Portfolio (Greece)

About the role
KALTEQ is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Key Account Manager to take responsibility for the STERIS Sterilization portfolio across the Greek market. This national role focuses on developing strategic relationships with public and private hospitals, identifying new business opportunities, and driving growth of advanced sterilization and infection prevention solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Take commercial responsibility for the STERIS Sterilization portfolio across Greece.
- Develop and execute a national sales and account development strategy.
- Manage and grow relationships with key public and private hospitals, healthcare groups, and strategic accounts.
- Build strong relationships with CSSD/Sterilization Departments, Biomedical Engineering, Infection Control, Procurement, Hospital Management, and other decision‑makers.
- Identify new projects and business opportunities, from early‑stage planning through tender and final implementation.
- Manage complex capital equipment sales cycles, including technical presentations, site evaluations, demonstrations, quotations, negotiations, and contract closure.
- Actively monitor and participate in public and private tender opportunities.
- Develop a strong and sustainable sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting and market intelligence.
- Collaborate with KALTEQ’s Technical Service, Applications, Tender, Logistics, and Management teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and evolving customer requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, Key Account Management or Business Development within Medical Devices / MedTech.
- Previous commercial experience in sterilization equipment, CSSD solutions, infection prevention or related capital medical equipment is strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of hospital purchasing processes and public/private tender procedures.
- Experience managing high‑value and technically complex sales projects.
- Fluency in Greek and English.
- Willingness to travel frequently throughout Greece.
