In-house Legal Counsel – Corporate & Collections

About the role

We are looking for an in‑house Legal Counsel to join Spotawheel’s Legal Team in Athens. The role combines corporate legal work, contract review, governance, and management of collections and recovery matters, providing direct support to management and becoming the main legal point of contact.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day‑to‑day corporate matters, including board and shareholder resolutions, minutes and corporate records.
• Prepare and review shareholders’ agreements and other corporate documentation using company templates.
• Negotiate lease agreements and contracts with suppliers, clients, investors and lenders.
• Manage corporate governance, KYC and legal due‑diligence requests.
• Coordinate signing, electronic execution and record‑keeping of legal documents.
• Work with external counsel on litigation, dispute resolution and debt‑collection projects.
• Provide ad‑hoc legal guidance to the Collections team and day‑to‑day support to management.
• Maintain and develop legal templates, processes and records.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in corporate law and commercial contract negotiation in English and Greek.
• Good knowledge of company law, corporate governance and KYC procedures.
• Experience in litigation, dispute resolution and debt/collections recovery, including court proceedings.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Greek language proficiency required.
• Ability to work independently, manage a varied workload and communicate effectively with external lawyers, clients and investors.
