HR Generalist – Greece

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support our operations in Greece. The role will manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment through onboarding, performance management and off‑boarding, ensuring compliance with Greek labour legislation and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment for operational, technical and business support positions, including job postings, CV screening, interview scheduling and candidate communication.
• Manage new‑joiner onboarding, probation reviews, contract amendments and ensure a smooth first‑day experience.
• Maintain accurate employee records, contracts and documentation, monitor attendance, leave balances and produce related reports.
• Process HR transactions such as transfers, promotions, exits and ensure GDPR‑compliant handling of personal data.
• Support day‑to‑day HR operations in line with Greek labour law, prepare employment documentation and assist internal audits.
• Collaborate with QHSE teams and occupational physicians on health and safety matters.
• Provide guidance to managers on routine HR questions and act as a point of contact for employee queries.
• Maintain HRIS and employee databases, generate HR reports, dashboards and KPI tracking.
• Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies, handbooks and work regulations.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience in HR operations, administration or as an HR generalist.
• Proven track record in recruitment, employee records management and HR compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Greek labour legislation and GDPR requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; HR certification (CIPD, SHRM) is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS platforms, preferably SAP SuccessFactors or similar.
• Competent Excel skills for data entry, basic analysis and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Greek and English.
