Hotel Operations Manager

About the role

We are representing a 31‑room new boutique hotel in the heart of Athens, in the area of Kolonaki, open year‑round. The owners are looking for an exceptional Operations Manager to lead the hotel team and shape the guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, train and motivate a team of 15-20 staff, building a strong service culture
• Manage revenue, pricing and distribution across OTAs and direct channels
• Control budgets, costs and payroll to meet profitability targets
• Monitor guest satisfaction and online reviews, and act on feedback
• Ensure compliance with hospitality, health & safety and labour regulations
• Manage suppliers, contractors and maintenance planning
• Work closely with the owner on strategy, marketing and continuous improvement

Required profile

• 5+ years of hotel management experience, ideally in a boutique or independent property
• Proven track record in revenue management and cost control
• Excellent English and Greek; other languages are an advantage
• Hands‑on experience with PMS, channel managers and booking platforms
• Outstanding leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills
• A guest‑first mindset, with attention to detail and a calm, solutions‑oriented approach
• Flexibility to be present when the hotel needs you
