Spa Receptionist – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are seeking a Spa Receptionist to deliver exceptional, personalized service throughout every stage of the guest journey at the newly transformed GB Spa, a luxury wellness destination in the heart of Athens. The role combines front‑desk responsibilities with deep knowledge of spa treatments, wellness experiences and retail offerings, supporting the hotel’s commitment to timeless elegance and memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests with warmth, professionalism and genuine care.
• Manage spa reservations, enquiries, confirmations and guest requests accurately and efficiently.
• Provide expert guidance on spa treatments, beauty, grooming, fitness and retail products.
• Anticipate guest needs, maintain accurate preferences and personalize the experience.
• Coordinate closely with therapists, hair, nail, barber, fitness and spa attendant teams to ensure seamless service.
• Handle payments, gift vouchers and spa transactions in line with hotel procedures.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling while maintaining a guest‑focused approach.
• Address guest concerns with discretion, ownership and professionalism.
• Ensure all interactions reflect Marriott Luxury Standards and the GB Spa service philosophy.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in a luxury hotel, spa, hospitality or premium guest‑service environment.
• Excellent command of Greek and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a dynamic luxury setting.
• High emotional intelligence, problem‑solving ability and guest‑orientation.
• Commercial awareness and confidence in recommending services and products.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, integrity and genuine passion for luxury hospitality.

Required skills

• Experience with Book4time reservation system (preferred).
• Familiarity with Micros point‑of‑sale system (preferred).
