About the role
We are looking for a motivated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at a luxury hotel in Athens. The role involves preparing high‑quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the kitchen during busy periods.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
- Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters and ensure proper food storage and thawing.
- Maintain food logs, monitor portion sizes, garnish dishes and ensure consistency.
- Communicate with service staff about menu specials, out‑of‑stock items and excess food for daily specials.
- Assist in hiring, training and scheduling of kitchen staff and act as a role model.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree in culinary arts or related field.
- Minimum three years of relevant kitchen experience.
- No prior supervisory experience required.
Required skills
- Operating ovens, broilers, grills and roasters.
- Food preparation and cooking according to standardized recipes.
- Cold food preparation.
- Food safety and hygiene compliance.
