Hotel Manager

About the role

Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens, ranked No. 27 in The 50 Best Hotels 2026, is seeking a Hotel Manager to join its Planning Committee. The manager leads all hotel operations personnel, directly supervising the Director of Rooms and the Director of Food and Beverage, and represents the hotel with civic organizations, the business community, industry groups and local government.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day hotel operations and ensure Four Seasons standards, policies and procedures are followed.
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience by engaging with guests, reviewing feedback and resolving service issues.
• Review revenue, labor and financial performance and control operating expenses and capital expenditures.
• Partner with People and Culture on staffing, recruitment, employee development, morale and performance.
• Maintain the hotel through housekeeping, engineering and preventive maintenance programs.
• Protect the health, safety and welfare of guests and employees and lead emergency or crisis responses.
• Act as General Manager in the manager's absence and maintain a strong relationship with the owners.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in a senior operational leadership role in a luxury hotel or resort, covering Rooms and Food & Beverage.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop department heads and diverse teams.
• Track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences while managing safety or crisis situations.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Budgets, profit-and-loss statements, forecasts, labor costs and capital expenditures.
• Strong financial acumen and stakeholder management.
