Corporate Commercial Legal Counsel

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Commercial Legal Counsel to provide strategic legal support across a wide range of corporate and commercial matters. Based in Athens, you will act as a trusted business partner to senior management and cross‑functional teams, helping to shape the direction of a major trading platform.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements such as service contracts, procurement contracts, NDAs, partnership and technology agreements.
• Provide legal advice on corporate and commercial issues affecting daily operations.
• Lead corporate secretariat duties, including board and committee meeting preparation, minutes, statutory records and filings.
• Coordinate shareholder matters, powers of attorney, delegated authorities and internal approvals.
• Support M&A transactions, corporate restructurings and strategic projects with due diligence and documentation.
• Liaise with external counsel, regulators and service providers as needed.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assess business impact.
• Offer legal support to finance, procurement, sales and operations functions.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in a relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum 8 years of post‑qualification experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Significant experience in corporate governance and secretariat responsibilities.
• Proven track record in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Experience with cross‑border transactions and multinational environments is an asset.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
