About the role

As a Cook C at F ZEEN ATHENS you will work under the Chef to prepare and cook meals for our adult‑only urban retreat. You will ensure high standards of taste, temperature and presentation while supporting the kitchen team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare meals as ordered.
• Ensure a high standard of taste, temperature and preparation for all food items.
• Assist in the preparation of major meals by mixing, stirring, ladling, adjusting heat, etc.
• Clean work areas and utensils.
• Perform other related tasks as required.
• Prepare mise‑en‑place for the next day.
• Assist with another station as assigned by the Chef.
• Collect store items from the main kitchen.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and report any repair or maintenance needs.
• Adhere to all organisational policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Some knowledge of materials, methods and equipment used in preparing food on a large scale.
• Understanding of food values and nutrition.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work under pressure.
