Commercial Finance Business Partner

About the role

Steelmet S.A. is seeking a Commercial Finance Business Partner to act as a trusted advisor to regional leadership. The role blends financial analysis, strategic insight, and commercial acumen to shape business direction and drive profitable growth across markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts and long‑term financial planning.
• Perform performance analysis across markets, channels and categories, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Establish and monitor key financial and operational KPIs to ensure accountability.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly business performance reviews, challenging assumptions and delivering insight‑led views.
• Translate commercial strategy into robust financial plans aligned with growth objectives.
• Oversee capital‑expenditure reviews, ensuring investments are rigorously evaluated and aligned with strategic priorities.
• Build the financial narrative for major decisions, stress‑testing plans and providing a commercial lens to discussions.
• Collaborate with commercial and operations teams to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• BSc in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Management (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
• 7‑8 years of progressive experience in commercial finance, FP&A or finance business partnering, preferably in a fast‑paced, multi‑market environment such as FMCG, retail or technology.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with a hands‑on mindset.
