Chef de Partie – Banquet Hot Kitchen

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join the Banquet Hot Kitchen at InterContinental Athens. The role involves preparing high‑quality hot dishes for banquet, conference and event services while maintaining the hotel’s standards of quality and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook hot dishes according to banquet menus, event specifications and hotel standards.
• Keep the workstation clean, organized and fully stocked for smooth service.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations meticulously.
• Support efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods.
• Verify that all ingredients received meet quality standards.
• Assign tasks and collaborate with team members to deliver high‑quality food for events.
• Undertake related duties and special projects as directed by the Kitchen department.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a banquet hot kitchen, high‑volume hotel kitchen or similar environment (preferred).
• Graduate of a culinary school.
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and good knowledge of English.
• Proactive, reliable and team‑focused attitude.
