Aviation Training & Development Manager (Inflight Catering)

About the role

We are seeking an Aviation Training & Development Manager to lead training and compliance initiatives across our inflight catering operations. The role will design, deliver and monitor training programmes, ensure regulatory compliance and support employee engagement throughout our network of airport outlets and catering facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate mandatory training (food safety & hygiene, health & safety, role‑specific) and onboarding programmes.
• Maintain training records and certifications for audits and quality standards.
• Report on identified training gaps and propose improvement actions.
• Manage relationships with external training providers.
• Develop innovative approaches to training and employee engagement in complex working environments.
• Own the onboarding process, including a mentoring system.
• Coordinate internal communications such as newsletters and updates.
• Design succession plans, identify internal talent and participate in the annual performance appraisal process.
• Develop learning programmes, leveraging available tools and subsidised training schemes.
• Build clear career paths within the organisation.
• Manage training data and report progress against KPIs.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years recent experience in aviation security, aviation catering, in‑flight supplies or related aviation sector.
• Holder of Safety Management System (SMS) and Ramp Safety (Airside Safety) certificates.
• Excellent command of English (C2 level) and Greek (certified).
• Proven experience in training & development within a dynamic, multi‑site environment.
• Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory training across multiple locations.
