Assistant Manager – Strategy & Operations

About the role

KPMG is seeking a high‑performing Assistant Manager to join its Strategy & Operations team in Greece. The role involves partnering with senior client executives and project teams to design and deliver strategy, business transformation, and organizational redesign initiatives across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workstreams on complex strategy, operating model, and transformation engagements.
• Support the design and implementation of Target Operating Models, organizational structures, and business processes.
• Analyze current‑state operating models, identify improvement opportunities, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses and prepare executive‑level deliverables and presentations.
• Facilitate client interviews, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
• Manage and coach junior consultants to ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Contribute to business development activities such as proposal development and market research.

Required profile

• Strong academic background (BSc and MSc) in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum four years of professional experience in management consulting, preferably within a Big Four firm.
• Proven experience in Organizational Design, Target Operating Model design, or Business Process Improvement.
• Exposure to at least one functional domain: Finance, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
• Experience with clients in Energy & Utilities, Consumer & Retail, Food & Beverage, or Manufacturing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
