Governance, Risk, Compliance & Internal Audit Associate (Shipping)

About the role

PwC Greece is seeking an ambitious Associate to join its Governance, Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit consulting team focused on the shipping sector. You will work on complex, ambiguous projects, applying commercial awareness and PwC methodologies to deliver high‑quality insights for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Address ambiguous and unstructured problems in the shipping sector.
• Execute tasks within project work streams, collaborating with senior associates and client teams.
• Assist with documentation and reporting requirements.
• Learn and apply PwC methodologies by shadowing experienced professionals.
• Participate in team meetings to understand objectives and share progress.
• Prepare reports and client presentations using MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Explore and leverage AI‑powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot for simple automation under supervision.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Internal Audit, Risk Management or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek.
• Excellent attention to detail and a client‑centric mindset.
• Motivated, curious and collaborative professional.
