German Financial Specialist – Corporate Consolidation (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a German‑speaking Financial Specialist to lead corporate consolidation activities within Hemmersbach’s Group Finance function. The role combines technical consolidation work with interaction with local finance teams and external auditors, operating in a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate consolidated financial statements.
• Perform consolidation adjustments such as intercompany reconciliations, investment eliminations, foreign‑currency translations and equity accounting entries.
• Review and reconcile consolidated balances and disclosures.
• Assist external auditors during annual audits and validate reporting packages.
• Support Group Finance with ad‑hoc analyses and provide guidance to local finance teams on consolidation requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in finance or accounting (or equivalent).
• Minimum three years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably with consolidation work.
• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA, CMA) is an asset.
• Fluent German and English (C1 level).
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with consolidation tools.
• Advanced MS Excel or similar analytical software.
