Accountant – Client Relations & Tax Advisory

About the role

Intellectica is looking for a motivated Accountant to join its Accounting & Tax team in Piraeus. You will be the primary contact for clients, ensuring that all accounting and tax obligations are met efficiently and in compliance with Greek regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client accounts and serve as the main point of contact for accounting and tax matters.
• Review journal entries (Category C books) and prepare accurate financial statements under Greek GAAP.
• Prepare and file monthly and annual tax returns, including VAT and income tax, using internal systems.
• Conduct regular client meetings to discuss performance and provide advisory support.
• Identify discrepancies in accounting software, implement corrective actions, and stay updated on regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s or relevant certifications are a plus).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and tax advisory services.
• Proficiency in Greek GAAP; exposure to IFRS is desired.
• Fluent in Greek and English.
