Technical Project Manager (Senior Associate)

About the role

PwC is looking for a self‑driven Technical Project Manager (Senior Associate) to join its Project Management team in Athens. You will lead the delivery lifecycle of technology and data engagements, ensuring projects move from business case to production while meeting quality, timeline and budget expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Head of IT PMO and drive end‑to‑end project delivery for PwC Tech & Data engagements.
• Manage projects from a technical perspective, applying Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies.
• Define scope, estimate effort and budget, and forecast resources.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, remove impediments and keep teams on track.
• Develop, monitor and control project plans, prioritize tasks and resolve conflicts.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
• Prepare progress reports, KPI dashboards and financial forecasts.
• Handle monthly billing, invoice follow‑up and client presentations.
• Obtain customer acceptance of deliverables and conduct post‑project evaluations.
• Identify new business opportunities with existing clients.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of IT Project Management experience in the Banking/Finance sector.
• Experience in IT requirements analysis/management is advantageous.
• PMP and/or PSM certifications are strongly preferred.
• Strong technical fluency and ability to discuss technology trends and product details.
