Tax Advice Associate / Senior Associate

About the role

PwC’s Tax Advice team in Athens is looking for an ambitious Associate or Senior Associate to help clients navigate complex tax matters related to deals, restructurings and day‑to‑day compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax advisory services for buy‑side and sell‑side transactions, including tax due diligence.
• Deliver tax structuring advice for post‑transaction integration, group reorganisations and ongoing compliance.
• Conduct technical research on tax legislation and jurisprudence to resolve complex issues.
• Collaborate with tax professionals across jurisdictions and with Deals teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Manage end‑to‑end execution of tax projects, ensuring quality, timely delivery and resource allocation.

Required profile

• 0‑5 years of experience in tax, preferably in Tax M&A, Tax Certificate, Tax Structuring or International Tax.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or Law; a Master’s or professional tax qualification is a strong asset.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent business writing skills in English and Greek.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adopt new technologies.
