Tax & Accounting Manager

About the role

Grant Thornton Greece is seeking an experienced Tax & Accounting Manager to lead consulting services for corporate clients. The role combines technical tax expertise with strategic project leadership in a collaborative, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax and accounting consulting services to a portfolio of corporate clients.
• Manage tax and accounting projects, overseeing a team of tax professionals.
• Leverage technology solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and client reporting.
• Deliver high‑quality client service while meeting strict deadlines.
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive resourceful solutions.
• Anticipate regulatory changes and guide the team through ambiguity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 5‑7 years of experience in tax, accounting, or related areas.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles.
• Fluent in English and Greek, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High work ethic, motivation for career progression, and ability to deliver quality services.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with financial analysis tools.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) solutions (optional but valued).
